In his article "Two Dogmas of Empricism," Professor Quine advances a number of criticism of the supposed distinction between analytic and synthetic statements, and of other associated notions. It is, he says, a distinction which he rejects. We wish to show that his criticisms of the distinction do not justify his rejection of it.
